How we serve
One ecosystem around the whole athlete.
The shield, drawn
Nothing reaches the athlete directly. Every relationship routes through Aegis, and every one of them is evaluated against the same question.
Diagram: The athlete & family sits at the centre. A ring labelled Aegis surrounds them. 9 groups of professionals sit outside the ring, and every connection passes through it — none reaches the centre directly. The list below gives each group and what it covers.
Aegis
The athlete & family
The shield. Every adviser, partnership and opportunity is evaluated here before it reaches the athlete.
Legal
Independent licensed attorneys, engaged for the athlete and coordinated by Aegis.
Fiduciary
Independent fiduciaries who owe the athlete a duty of loyalty, with Aegis coordinating rather than holding the mandate.
Financial
Independent licensed financial professionals, working to the athlete's plan rather than to a product.
Accounting
Independent licensed accountants for tax and reporting, briefed on the whole picture rather than one filing.
Health
Independent licensed clinicians and health professionals, coordinated around the athlete.
Business
Operators and advisers for the athlete's own ventures, chosen for fit with the long-term plan.
Brand & media
Communications, content and public relations that build an identity belonging to the person.
Education
Academic, eligibility and financial-literacy support, so decisions are understood before they are made.
Strategy
The long view: how today's decision fits the career, the family and the life after competition.
Practice areas
Five divisions, one plan. They are divisions of attention rather than separate products — an athlete does not experience them one at a time.
Athlete Advisory
Where an athlete is going, and what each decision along the way is building toward. Career strategy, the brand that carries their name, and the plan for a life that continues after the competing stops.
- Career Strategy
- Brand Development
- Life Planning
Business Operations
Coordination of independent licensed legal, financial and accounting professionals: engaged, kept working from the same plan, and held to it, so nothing important falls between them.
- Finance & Accounting
- Legal & Compliance
- Risk Management
Partnerships & Deal Flow
Opportunities assessed against the whole plan rather than in isolation, with independent licensed professionals engaged wherever a decision calls for them. The most valuable answer here is often no.
- Sponsorships
- Investment opportunities
- Strategic alliances
Marketing & Media
A public identity that belongs to the person rather than the position, built to hold up long after the competition ends. Communications, content, and the discipline of saying less.
- Communications
- Content & Brand
- Public Relations
Healthcare
Coordination of independent licensed clinicians and health professionals across injury, recovery, mental health and the long arc of a body that outlasts the career.
- Injury & recovery
- Mental health
- Continuity of care
Community Impact
Giving that is planned alongside everything else rather than bolted on at the end, and built to outlast the athletic career that started it.
- Philanthropy
- Youth Programs
- Legacy Initiatives
Scope
Aegis is not a law firm, an accountancy practice, a registered investment adviser or an athlete agent, and does not practise law, provide tax or investment advice, or manage money. Everything regulated is delivered by independent licensed professionals whom Aegis engages, coordinates and holds accountable.
Across the athlete's journey
The relationship can begin long before the first contract and stay useful long after the last one.
Stage 01
Development
Structure and education before the money arrives, so the first real decision is not also the first lesson. This is the cheapest stage to get right and the most expensive one to skip.
Stage 02
College & NIL
Eligibility, contracts and tax obligations arrive together and are governed by different rulebooks. Aegis coordinates the independent licensed professionals each one requires, so the athlete is not the one holding the pieces.
Stage 03
Professional career
A single plan across contracts, endorsements, investments, businesses and family responsibilities — because these decisions compound, and treating them separately is how good years turn into bad decades.
Stage 04
Life after the game
Independence that does not depend on competing. Businesses, philanthropy, and the work that comes next, started early enough to be built properly rather than improvised.
Every decision answers one question:
Is this in the athlete's best interest?
If the answer is no, it doesn't belong inside Aegis.
