Information we collect

We collect what you choose to send us through the contact form: whether you are an athlete, a parent or guardian, or someone else; your name; your email address; and your message. You may also choose to give a phone number, a sport, and a level of competition. If you indicate that the athlete is under 18, we record that so we can respond appropriately.

The form also records your browser's user-agent string, and whether you ticked the consent box, so we have a record of the permission you gave.

We use Vercel Analytics to understand how the site is used. It reports aggregate page views and does not use cookies or build a profile of you.

Our hosting provider keeps ordinary server logs, which include IP addresses, as part of operating and securing the site.

How we use information

We use what you send us to answer you, and to have the conversation you asked for. That is the whole of it.

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.

Sharing and disclosure

Your submission is stored in a database operated by Supabase and hosted for us by Vercel. If email notification is enabled, a copy of your enquiry is delivered to us through Resend. These providers process the information on our behalf and under our instruction.

Aegis coordinates with independent licensed professionals. We do not pass your information to any of them without asking you first.

We may disclose information where we are required to by law, or where it is necessary to protect someone's safety or our legal rights.

Data retention

We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to answer you and to keep a record of the conversation, and no longer than is reasonable for that purpose. You can ask us to delete yours at any time.

Your rights and choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Ask through the contact page and we will act on it.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law. Tell us what you are asking for and we will treat it seriously whether or not a particular statute applies.

Minors

This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Where an enquiry concerns an athlete under 18, the form asks for a parent or guardian to be involved, and we expect to correspond with them. If you believe a minor has sent us information without a parent or guardian's involvement, contact us and we will remove it.

Security

Enquiries are written to the database only by our server, using a credential that is never sent to your browser. The table has row-level security enabled with no read access for public roles.

No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise. Please do not send us sensitive documents or financial account details through the contact form.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site or our practices change. The current version is always the one published here.
